Shop floor tackled without extending closure

For a storefront, we gave an existing floor a complete refresh in one weekend with a epoxy floor. Customer's wish: a sleek, durable showroom floor that matches the look of the shop and is easy to maintain.

A 2-layer system was chosen, consisting of a primer and a strong epoxy topcoat. This combination provides an aesthetically high-quality finish with the functional benefits that come with a floor in the industrial or commercial sector: hard-wearing, low-maintenance and resistant to daily use.

Implementation took place at weekends to utilise closing time and avoid loss of turnover. The shop floor was largely cleared; where this was not possible, such as near counters and shelving, work was skilfully done around it.

The result: a modern, hard-wearing floor that both enhances the shop's calling card and lasts for years - exactly as the customer envisaged.
