A trowel floor, also known as mortar floor or PMMA floor, is a strong and durable commercial floor composed of PMMA resin and fine gravel. With a thickness of 4-5 mm and a four-layer construction, this floor offers a solid base and a seamless finish. The sealer layer makes the floor completely liquid-proof, resistant to chemicals and easy to clean. Thanks to its fast curing, the floor can be laid within one day and put back into use immediately.

How is a trowel floor applied?
A trowel floor is applied in four layers. First, the substrate is cleaned and, if necessary, sanded. This is followed by a primer coat for optimum adhesion. Next, the trowel compound with granules is applied to determine colour and structure. Finally, the sealer layer ensures chemical resistance and a watertight finish. Within two hours, the floor is fully cured and ready for use.
