What is a cast floor?

A cast floor is a sleek, seamless floor that is both durable and easy to maintain. Originally popular in business environments, it is now increasingly used in homes. Thanks to its combination of strength, liquid-proofing and modern look, such a floor is ideal for a variety of sectors.

Why choose a cast floor?

Our cast floor is made entirely of epoxy and offers a high-quality, hard-wearing finish. The floor is cast in several layers and has a thickness of about 2 mm. This makes the floor not only strong and chemically resistant, but also easy to clean and extremely durable. For a more economical alternative, we also offer epoxy coating floors, which protect existing floors with a wear-resistant layer.

applications

Cast floors are broadly applicable and suitable for various sectors, such as workshops and technical areas where a hard-wearing and low-maintenance floor is essential, showrooms and industrial halls that benefit from a sleek and modern look, and industry and logistics where a durable floor with high mechanical load-bearing capacity is required.

floor installation

Substrate preparation starts with sanding or blasting for optimal adhesion, followed by a primer coat that provides a solid base and prolongs its life. The epoxy screed is then applied in 2 to 3 days, depending on the number of layers. Our cast floors can be laid on concrete, cement screeds and existing coatings, while tiles, wood or linoleum usually require additional preparation.
